Old Lighthouse

Auroville
A trip to Pondicherry warrants visiting Auroville, located 15 km away in Tamil Nadu. Founded by Aurobindo’s disciple, Mirra Alfassa, in 1968, Auroville is a tranquil town renowned for its principles of universal harmony, unity, sustainability, and conscious living. Some must-visit attractions are the Matrimandir, Auroville Beach, and the Botanical Garden. The Matrimandir’s Inner Chamber is closed for renovation, but the Visitors Centre and Matrimandir Viewing point are accessible currently.
Paradise Beach

Eglise De Notre Dame Des Anges
The Église de Notre Dame des Anges, or the church of Our Lady of Angels, is one of the most beautiful and famous churches in Pondicherry with its Greco-Roman architecture. It is referred to as White Chapel because it was formerly white. It is the only church in Pondicherry where mass takes place every Sunday in English, French, and Tamil. Pondicherry Museum
The Pondicherry Museum is a testament to Pondicherry’s rich culture and demonstrates its colonial past, making it a must-visit for history enthusiasts.
