Basic rules of the game

The game begins with the player placing his bets on Banker's hand, Player's hand or Tie. Dealer deals two hands on the table:

  • The Banker’s Hand
  • The Player’s Hand

Once the dealer places two cards on each part of the table, it’s time to calculate the points and determine the value of each hand.

Note that the Tens (Cards with number 10) and the face cards (A,K,Q,J) are all counted as zero points. The other cards are worth their face value and Ace is counted as one point.

Also, if the value of your hand is a two-digit number, only the second-digit is counted.

For example,

  • The Banker gets  {10-Spades}{7-Hearts}
  • The Player gets  {9-Hearts}{3-}

Here the banker is the winner because 0+7= 7 points, while the Player’s hand is of only 2 points (9+3 = 12 points, but since we only use the second-digit, it becomes of just two points)

If in the first two cards dealt, the point total is 8 or 9 for either the Player or the Banker, this is called a natural win and the game is over. Bets that have already been placed are cashed out.

The Player hand is completed first. A total of 8 or 9 for the Player will get no additional cards. The Player stands on totals of 6 or 7. On any other total, 0-5, the Player draws a third card, unless the banker has 8 or 9, in which case the bank hand wins with no further draw

THE TIE BET IS BACCARAT

In the game of Baccarat, - Sometimes no one wins.

If the Player and the Banker have the same points, the game results in a Tie. In this case, the bets to the Banker and the bets to the Player are returned (no one wins, and no one loses) and only the bets on the Tie are paid.

In Baccarat, no decisions are made by the player or the dealer for how cards are played. If a winning hand is not reached in the initial draw, the dealer must draw a third card for both hands based on the rules. The player hand is always dealt first.
